Wind and Fire

The morning started out with this:

It is no small tree. The winds were more blustery than I remember ever before. This tree is next door. We have a tree that looks ready to go too. The sky got darker

and darker. Fire. Wind.

Yeah... I really don't remember ever having winds quite like this. And we've had a record low in rain too this year. What was it... 3 inches total? Unbelievable. Sorry about your tree.

Up here in Northern Calif we've been blown around like CRAZY today. Hoping it calms down tonight! That fire looks scary - hope it ends soon!

Yesderday at church I watched a tree just fall over. Thankfully no one was standing there. You look closer to the fires though. We're just stuck in a pit of bad air.

Hi, just joined the web ring...and saw your blog...Oh my! those pictures! I was down in Orange yesterday...the traffic...crazy! Most of my family is down in San Diego. It's just scary. I can't even imagine and your pictures have really made it hit home.

That's crazy!!!

We've just been getting ash snow, but I'm not sure which fire it's coming from. I'm just glad I don't live in San Diego County. And I feel inspired to update my renter's insurance.

Your last picture is absolutely beautiful. I think it could win a prize. I'm going to print that one. Thanks for sharing.
