Dishcloths

Have you ever been late with a hostess gift? We have some friends we visited in April and I just finally finished their gift. It's never too late, right? Sometimes people are just so special to you that you have to give a gift. I am hoping they will think these will be perfect washcloths for their bathroom.
This is #3. He is handy with an axe (has been since age 5) and now has mastered the drill and the sawzall. Do all mothers let their children do such things?

I love knitted wash cloths. Pic of son with sawzall, timeless!

The washcloths look great. I think that simmer is the perfect time of year for making washcloths.

Never to late to thank someone! I recently gave dishcloths I made to two friends as "thank-you's" six months after the events for which I was thanking them. They were surprised and pleased.

I love the blues and the white as stripes!

No... All mothers do not let their children do that! We would most definitely have missing limbs in this household! :)

They'll love the washcloths.

I try to close my eyes when M has the kids using some tools. He helped each of the boys make a few cuts on the miter saw when we were putting up baseboards...and they're only 5 & 6. I think he drew the line with the nail gun...but then again...my eyes were shut.
